Sociedade Agrícola Quinta do Javali is a family business founded in 2000 with the aim to produce and market their own DOC Douro and Port wines.

 

Using traditional techniques produce wines of natural quality. The farm is located on the left bank of the River Douro in the Douro Nagoselo - Sao João da Pesqueira.

 

Completely rebuilt in 1985 in 10 of the 20 acres that make up the vineyard was replanted castes of the finest in the region. It was this that drew the quality wines we produce.

 

The farm has an orientation North, East. The average annual precipitation is 750 mm with a temperature range between 5º and 45º C.

 

Set on schist soils on terraces at an altitude between 150 m and 300 m consists of the Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão, Tinta Barroca and Touriga Nacional.
