Quinta do Javali is a property dating from 1839 (originally under another name) located in Nagoselo (Douro valley) not far from São João da Pesqueira. Making wine since 2001 especially port wine and beeting with it mainly the international market. Nowadays they're doing around 30,000 liters of wine.

Made with Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional and Tinto Cão. Clear ruby color with hints of garnet. Find cassis in the aroma, mint and some red fruits. Much complexity. In the mouth it's noted the presence of leather and some spices. Good finish. Very interesting wine.
Quinta do Javali Reserva 2008 14.5% Made with Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional and Tinto Cão. Like Reserva 2007 but with a greater presence of wood. Living tannins, good acidity. Cool. Good persistence.
Quinta do Javali Touriga Nacional 2010 13.5%
Clean violet color. Very clean fruit with floral aromas. Violets, blueberries, blackberries and some chocolate. In the mouth we find volume, acidity, tannins and lots of fruit. Long finish. A real surprise!
Quinta do Javali Old Vines 2005 15%
Made with Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional and Tinto Cão. Clear ruby color. Sweet aroma, crushed red berries, cassis and some leather. In the mouth it's balanced but still with firm tannins and high acidity. Good structure and persistence.

Made with Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional and Tinto Cão. Clear ruby color. Fruity but with low intensity. Input mouth gently but explodes inside. Structure, body, acidity. A show! Long finish.
Quinta do Javali 2005 14%
90% Tinto Cão. Spent 48 months in new French oak. Clear ruby color. Blackcurrant and cassis aroma. Well balanced. In the mouth we can feel the presence of a varnish and fresh fruit. A wine with character and personality.
Quinta do Javali LBV 2007 Bottled when it has four years, matures two years in barrels of 600 l and two years in stainless steel. Clear ruby color and fruity aroma. Full of fresh fruit. Plums, blackberries. Good persistence.
Quinta do Javali LBV 2003Clean ruby color. Ripe fruit aroma. Sour cherry. Leather. Figs. Shows great balance in the mouth, where it highlights the cherries and cherry brandy. Good finish.
Quinta do Javali LBV 2001Clean ruby color. Very smooth. Strong sour cherry and figs aroma that we also feel inside the mouth. Sweet. Persistent.
