Behind a long stage of 26 months in French oak barrels and after a prolonged stabilization in the bottle, it shows spices aromas such as cloves and nutmeg. With a significant exuberance, balsamic notes emerge, with suggestions softwoods, cedar, in harmony with aromas of leather, cigar box and liquorice (réglisse).

The trend in this category of wine equals one Pomerol well developed, thus ensuring enormous complexity.

Taste Assessment

The polyphenolic richness is sublime. The initials tannins correspond to a true diamond in the rough, that only time can polish. The structure is thus great and robust, ensuring a long persistence in the mouth. The aging capacity of the Tinto Cão is huge, with the ability to overcome the 10-15 years. It is recommended the opening and decanting, with an advance of 2-3 hours.
